From the early beginning the conference was introduced as a high quality academic event with exact aims to be achieved. The most important goal was not only to analyze the causes of a relatively poor performance or weak competitiveness of the European tertiary system, but also to make a product, full of ideas how to improve the system of education In Poland and collect valuable materials with different proposals and opinions.

To reach this level a special agency had been monitored the whole conference process, especially focusing on the presentations of ministry officials, higher education experts and esteemed representatives from the universities and businessess.
