
The U.S. Economy and Transatlantic Relations Institute at Lazarski University, Polish–U.S. Fulbright Commission, Harvard Club of Poland, and Scholarship Fellows of the Foundation for Polish Science cordially invite you to participate in the forthcoming Conference “Drivers from Higher Education to Quality Education: Drivers of Change and Choice: What Can We Learn About Competitiveness By Comparing U.S. and EU Education at the University Level?” which will take place in Warsaw. The conference includes noteworthy paper presentations, panel discussions and workshops.
It will be a 2 day international conference (18-19 June, 2010) comparing U.S. and EU university systems to enumerate and analyze the causes of a relatively poor performance or weak competitiveness of the European tertiary system, as well as to asses efforts like the Bologna process and HE reform undertaken in Poland from the point of view of whether they are sufficient to close or at least to narrow the gap with the U.S. university system.
